That's what i was thinking. I hope our government is thinking ahead and making plans and physical preparations rather than the usual wait and see, then a panicked rush of decision-making and mistakes along the way. Band aid governing is always a fail

I just hope too many don't die trying to cross the border during wintertime again With all the radical stuff happening I can see 🍁 trying to help out but it will get bad if things don't turn around in the United States

Yeah, it's heartbreaking to hear stories of people freezing to death in the winter, and some try to walk across with children.☹️ I'm not sure what we will do if/when there is a massive surge of refugees. We will need international support. Imagine Trump's reaction (back to that convo again)

They have to do this as quietly as possible but I remember seeing the gov't were trying to offload a portable tent hospital from the COVID days and do hope they decided to keep it.

Again we are thinking along the same lines. I don't remember reading they dumped the tent hospital so...hopefully...
