feeling the same, Panda.
We just took a nice long hike in the woods with Hammy. It was great to forget everything for an hour.
That sounds lovely. π
It was exquisite. Perfect weather, gorgeous forest, soft wind, Hammy sniffing every blade of every plant...
Mmmmmm.π₯° I can imagine being there
YOu'd have loved it. We talked about you!
Not so sure I would have "loved" being the centre of your discussion. π±
I was telling Mr. Laffy how you walk 4 miles, so he asked your age. I told him you wouldn't tell me! He was impressed with your walkage! It came up bc I asked how far he thought we'd walked.
Tell him I've lived past the age my mother and her mom died but not at the age of my father's parents--they were quite old. And there are people my age in better physical shape -thinner and stronger- but none live in this retirement residence, they never walk outside this building, or even π
2/2 ...along the hallways for exercise. I would go stark raving mad if I couldn't go walk along the trees and quiet lane ways, pet dogs, watch hawks, talk with a few folk out exercising.
I LOVE stop and chats with fellow dog walkers! Or just those who want to visit with Hammy. So much fun. Yes, without these forest walks, I'd go nuts. That's why we are SO happy to have bought this townhouse next door to forest greenbelts. Hey, you can tell ME your age! I told you mine. π
I got out in my garden yesterday. A few more tomatoes are ripe but I scored some full size tomatoes from a friendβs garden & made another batch of roasted tomato sauce that is stellar. Boops to Hammy! I bet he has quite the fan club.
I just took a nap. That was a hour I didnβt have to think about ππ€‘
yaay for Naps Of Freedom.
