Given how they seem to be completely unaware of how the Anglicans approach faith, it is a long journey ahead of them before they learn the basics.
To say nothing of the fact that I grew up with devout Catholics (the kind who had the Bishop over for dinner twice a year), and met a Franciscan monk and 2 Jesuit priests who were *at a minimum* agnostics, and possibly even atheists! :) In my experience, often "Man of the Cloth" =/= true believer.
Lots of devout Catholics take the stance that you shouldn't worry about if God is real or not, or hope to witness miracles. You should focus on being a good person and member of your community. That way you are guaranteed to make good use of your life and be humble before God.
