Yup - honour is quickly squandered by one (or sometimes a few) bad acts - but restoration demands at least a 100 times more effort. It’s hard to see if the US polity will find the strength of character required to stay the course🤷🏼♂️. IMO if that were likely then it wouldn’t have got to this nadir !
