I’m not religious. But I believe that if there was a benevolent and loving god they would be appalled at those who claim piety and then hate and wish ill of their fellow humans. Conversely, I believe such a god would be satisfied with those who are kind and empathetic regardless of their beliefs.
I believe the same. Jesus's harshest words were against hypocrites. And when he described the judgment (Matthew chapter 25), he talked only about kindness and empathy and not about beliefs. "Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 1/3
