Yea, so does Android. It's built into Linux. (Windows 11 and Mac OS also still support USB floppy drives as well, though Windows handles 720k DD disks better, it can actually still format them).

I’m always a fan of backwards compatibility. The fact that the steam deck with its emulation or application wrapper(? not 100% sure what it is) that old Windows games play better on it than they do on Windows 11.

Steam on Linux uses Proton which is like Wine. Think of it more as giving Linux Win32 API support. It's why Wine stands for "Wine is not an Emulator". Likewise on Windows 11 (a 64-bit OS), you can install OTVDM to give it 16-bit Windows API support.
