I did a search of El Salvador Coffee using Amazon and wow...lots of coffee imported from there. So until we get a comprehensive list of what coffee's NOT TO buy, just go there and it will show you which ones are theirs. Thankfully I don't buy theirs.

El Salvador produces a lot of textiles and clothing. Check clothing labels to see where a product is made if you're buying in a brick and mortar store. If you're buying online, ask the customer service rep where the product is made or exported from. If they won't tell you, don't buy it.

Sure, but how many of those other brands are offered in children's sizing in-store? It's easy for me, an adult with an okay income and no children to seek other options. For parents with multiple children trying to balance a mortgage, car payments, etc., it's often a very different situation.
There's a reason why socks and underwear are the most requested donation items at homeless shelters. They typically aren't available secondhand, and even if they were it wouldn't be sanitary.
According to my Walmart app my closest Walmart has 10+ brands of children’s underwear in stock. Pricing is pretty similar across brands. And I also think that people have to do what they need to do in the current economic times. In this case people have other options.

I think the tariffs are supposed to dissuade American families like mine from buying CAN, EU and Taiwanese. We have been boycotting red state products in particular. In the U.S., EU food products are often safer and healthier when shopping for organic, and fewer issues with additives, etc.

There’s a great Canadian app called “Buy Beaver” (I know, eh?! 🦫) which has recently been updated to allow users to select countries to support and/or countries to boycott, by scanning bar codes as you shop. It’s free, and easy to use.

Coffee? Any specific brands, or are they pretty much all going to be Salvadoran coffee? Sadly, boycotting coffee altogether is not an option for me or for many others who are dependent on caffeine to keep us going through the day. (Nope, green tea and caffeinated sodas just do not work as well.)
Thankfully there are lots of coffee options! I can’t survive without either!! Use single source beans if possible. I do know Dutch Brother uses Salvadoran beans in their name brand coffee, but it is incredibly hard to find out what companies use what beans in their specific roasts.

Turns out the cans expired in 2022...so out they go.
Canned foods are good well beyond their expiration date. As long as the isn’t damaged generally 5 years. I regularly use canned black beans that are 2 to 3 past expiration and the quality is fine. Acidic stuff like tomato sauce & diced tomatoes need to be used quicker like no longer than 12-18 M.
