In one of the main Freedom of Information Act lawsuits involving Elon Musk and his team of analysts in the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a federal judge accelerated the case timeline this evening—ordering DOGE to produce details about its structure and authority within two weeks.
The timelines are 10x too long. They should have given them 24 hours and the arrested them.

As if that's gonna happen. Amy Gleason hasn't been seen or heard from since it was announced that she was Elon's boss and was the head of DOGE. There are so many jokes in this administration currently and worse still, so much danger for America and the world. Gleason seems like a small thing atm.

Amazing how slowly the wheels of justice turn… meanwhile, they’re getting all the data they want and wreaking havoc. Our justice system isn’t built for this and hasn’t evolved quickly enough to meet the challenge. This is what they are exploiting.

DOGE is organized as part of the Executive Office of the President. They’re shielded from the FOIA. I have doubts about this order surviving an appeal. If it does stand, I would expect further court proceedings to be closed to the public and kept confidential.
