I wonder if/when they will? Some states once had guard units at the state level from long ago. I wonder if rebuilding those, peacefully having people they cannot deputized or federalize. Switzerland has everyone willing in their militia for self defense, Finland does too. Ready to go short notice.

I remember the national uproar over use of force, I don’t remember politicians positions, but it was (at least) on a court ordered decision. ICE customs and increasingly the police it seems, don’t feel the need for court orders, dc doesn’t seem to need them either. I Don’t agree with it though.
