It gets worse. Trump intended to present Putin with a ceremonial gift, an American Bald Eagle Desk Statue engraved, “POTUS to President Putin.”
It doesn't sound engraved, just a note that it was to be from Trump to asshat.
A bald eagle (the very symbol of American freedom and strength) hand-delivered to a dictator who’s waging war in Ukraine, jailing dissidents, and working to dismantle Western alliances? That’s not routine diplomacy. That’s tone-deaf at best, or intentional messaging at worst.
