There is no plan. Step 1 was bomb Iran Nuke sites after telegraphing it for days. There is no Step 2.
What’s not clear is whether the U.S. will federalize law enforcement or a new leadership is chosen that distances itself from Netanyahu and Radical Israelis and pushes for a Middle East solution that stabilizes the region by taking religion out of the equation.
Russia, China and Muslim billionaires will provide support both financial and material support for the retaliation while cementing their inroads into other countries.
Financial markets will become destabilized with a global recession at a minimum.
The next moves will play out over several years with terrorists attacks on overseas U.S. locations and on U.S. soil and make 9/11 a footnote.
The fallout from this will begin with oil when the Straight of Hormuz is in play.

I wouldn't either. It might be a situation where you let this friendship go... It doesn't have to be a blow up, but just a gentle parting. You still care/love them but some things are too big to set aside. I've been there, not for political reasons, but no matter the reason it's hard.💔
You have to understand it from her perspective. It’s understandable that you don’t want the USA to be entering another war. We are torn about this too. So much hatred.
My suggestion is simply don’t respond. IMHO discussing topics with family and friends (who see things differently regarding political issues) usually don’t end up well. My background is medical and when I spoke with family out of care and concern in the early days of COVID, it backfired.
