I’m a big softie. I’ve let people move in with us to get on their feet. We’ve fostered/adopted kids, dogs, kittens, baby bats, and hurt oppossums. I take hot cooked food and blankets to homeless camps in the winter. It hurts to know I have a place in me that fully agrees with everything you said.

As am I. I work for a nonprofit who helps men coming out of incarceration, homelessness, and are in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. I try to never speak the way I did in my post, but there is a time and place when harsh words are necessary.
