One of the ugliest parts of this is the way these two glib snake oil salesmen take advantage of any tiny error in Zelensky's sort of low-intermediate English to assume bad intent. That right there tells you it was a complete set up.
Their strategy is to bombard him with many talking points questions, without giving time to hear his response, especially when he needs a bit extra to find the English words for his thoughts.
