I was a student in Woods Hole when he published this nonsense. All of us were angry about the backlash to Cape Wind. He published that about a year after his disastrous antivaxx article in Rolling Stone too. I knew he was bad back then.
I was so angry. This was not too long after W was re-elected and I when to school in Colorado. Right there on I-25 there was the coal power plant, bringing in coal from Wyoming. How was that not an eyesore???? We needed all the renewables we could get. And yet he fought that tooth and nail.
