To be clear, this is no shade at anarchists! It’s shade at left orgs in general for not doing more to activate people’s energy, even when we’re trying to get on board to make stuff happen
Slightly nerdy, but I recently read one author saying that early-20th century Irish socialists had all the brains of the Irish Revolution but none of the heart, whereas the opposite was true for the ultra-conservative nationalists. Kinda the same principle with these fascist BBQs.

That's the problem with anarchy: too many rules.
A university I know had an Anarchist Society, complete with treasurer, meetings, motions. I thought that rather quaint.
I once applied to volunteer for an anarchist café / book store, which redirected me to an e-mail address, which redirected me to another e-mail address, which clarified that volunteering was invite-only
