Assholes are.
Assholes are.
Rich assholes have convinced poor assholes it's okay to be assholes. It benefits the wealthy to have us fighting each other, because then we're not focusing on how badly they're ripping us off in order to enrich their own lives.
Philanthropy is the rich and wealthy picking winners and losers Never forget that! If U were paid a wage where U could feed UR family house UR family school UR children & possibly even afford a vacation a year then philanthropy would not be such a requirement in the United States #PurgeTheRich
And, if you look at it in perspective, the poor give more to charity based on percentage of income than oligarchs and the rest of the 10%. If someone worth $50 million drops a million bucks off at some charity, they won't even miss it. Poor people are more likely to share what little they have.
I don't eat directly to St jude. One thing I'll never do is donate at the register because that is a tax write-off for the company whether it be Target Walmart whoever they're using your free dollars for a tax write-off so it's in it's 100% income for them. It's a corporate scam
I followed you back. I spent around 22 years living in Michigan -- Oscoda (twice), Saginaw for about 6 months, Marquette, and Kalamazoo. Nice to meet another Michigander!
West Michigan here. Live in the 2nd largest city in Michigan
Not far from Kazoo! I went to KVCC for nursing school many years ago. I attended most of elementary school and a year of high school in Oscoda (Air Force brat), and graduated from Marquette Senior High School. In between, we lived in Germany, so I went to a school on base.
Wow that sounds exciting 😊 I graduated Ferris State moved to GR got a second degree in IT and now I'm retired working for the state of Michigan. It's been a good life until Trump. And I mean that 😡
Well, it was kinda exciting and kinda not....but every silver lining comes with a cloud. Ugh. Don't get me started on the felon.
Absolutely, I absolutely agree. Rich people donate to charity philanthropy for a tax write-off it's purely a selfish act. Poor people donate the tax break is not existent because it's a high $ bar to even start getting that break. I find that a lot of people donate gofundme reaching who needs it
Yes, they would ideally like to see us all punching down. As Dana Carvey playing George W once said, “Na ga da” (He was actually saying “not gonna do it, but pronounced it as “na ga da”) 😂
