We are attempting it! Many grassroots organizations are planning marches, boycotts, and general strikes. The culture of individualism and resulting lack of community along with learned helplessness is a real struggle though.

The "culture of individualism"? As opposed to what? The culture of "The country is everything and I am nothing" aka the Soviet Union?

As opposed to knowing who your neighbors are and doing things with them in person. I’m working with an organization planning a general strike, and we will need mutual aid because our unions are weak and only represent 10% of the workforce and our health insurance is tied to our jobs.
