Did ICE actually use the applications for asylum that were filed legally by the immigrants as a means of tracking them down? ~Asking for We the People.

The reason I ask is that 100% of the people arrested and shipped off to El Salvador ALL had filed paperwork to seek asylum in the US..and 90% of them didn't have a criminal record here in the United States. So how did they find them? They fucking cheated, inorder to get some results, for the press.
