Look, we all know that Trump has zero respect for the troops, just based off well.... practically every interaction he's had with them. And he's been fucking over the National Guard that he's ordered deployed as well.

Whether it's having them spread mulch (which, let's face it, they might be good at it, but it's not normally something associated with them), or doing their deployments in 29 day chunks so they don't get extra benefits, Trump fucking doesn't care about them, only what they can do for him.

So, it's not a huge surprise that Donnie might not care about any sort of commute these Guardsmen will have from where they're barracked to their duty stations in Chicago, wherever those may be, to you know, stand around and look tough and probably harass people.
