The statement said he stayed at the scene to ensure her safety. There’s nothing written there, or anything that follows logically why a woman who was very distraught and vulnerable, to ride away from the authorities with essentially a stranger? The cops would have just given her a ride.

Then why does the official statement say -Following this- and -traveling the highway-? This official release indicates he was done and on his merry way. Doesn’t add up.
