Jesus was born in Judea; Jesus died in Judea. Jesus was a rabbi. The first ‘Christian’s’ were Jewish. Two Kingdoms: Israel in the north; Judea in the south. Religion spans 3500 years; worshipping one god w/a set of laws, a succession of kings, temples, communities. Roman’s would claim and rename it.
