That's because the majority of the dems are complicit -- they're owned and operated by the same oligarchs. They keep stifling and sabotaging the progressives because the progressives are the only ones not working for the oligarchs.

they would not hesitate to push legislation that squashed money in politics, and they would have used their majority at the start of Biden's term to carve out the filibuster to pass the Build Back Better bill that over 70% of americans wanted. They chose to fail instead.
