It's been their choice to be ineffectual cogs, because they're too busy trying to appease repugnants rather than accomplishing things.

Ineffectual, yes. Appeasement isn't the same as blatant inaction, which I believe is much more prevalent.

The Biden department of "justice" politically persecuted Biden's own son to appease the insurrectionist club. The charges against the peons was to appease the people. Without going after the bosses, as we've seen there is no justice, just more and more flagrant corruption.
