To be fair he ran UNOPPOSED for Congress his first 2 times I believe. He might have had a challenger last year b/c he was Speaker, but also a ton more money. The Dems stopped fielding candidates in red states at least as far back as Obama. So many GOP run unopposed. It’s changing, but FAR too late.
