When Trump lies, which is always, someone stands up and fact checks him in real time, and they do it loud enough so everyone can hear him. They don't have to act like a clown, like MTG does, but they need to speak the truth with no misunderstanding.

Possible consequence: permanent expulsion from the House. (Which would mean one less vote for Dems, in a razor thin House.) Maybe we need to think this through.

(Just because MTG wasn't expelled, doesn't mean the GOP wouldn't take the opportunity to censure, fine or expel a Dem.)

So we're back to square one where we do nothing and we back down to the bullies like we always do, that's why we're in this mess to begin with. We can’t reach Republican voters because they live in a propaganda bubble, we have to break through that bubble on live TV. I don't know what else to do.

Maybe we let smarter people than us think through the State of the Union response. Just because I don't think I have the full solution, doesn't mean it can't be found. I think I can see a few things that might backfire, however.

Yeah, I don't know, all I have seen so far is that Elissa Slotkin will give the Democratic response once the Insurresident finishes his lies, will that actually reach any Republicans?
