update: called in, texted three ppl and none of them could take my shift, good enough for me bc i'm not texting five more people just for all of them to tell me no

they won't!! we've been short staffed for a lil while and I don't think anyone's been forced to come in, this is my second call off and I didn't have anyone to take my shift last time either and i didn't get written up or anything
