It will take time, but a noble cause nonetheless. It is rather curious that he is in thrall to the Unamerican, Undemocratic Project 2025 and the authors thereof have control of our government.

The Biden admin had multiple opportunities to do just that, yet here we are. Do you think if the current slate of Dems regain power that they'll be any more willing to do what is necessary to rid us of this piece of lice?
Biden never had a filibuster-proof majority. Republicans would never have broken ranks to pass laws that would hinder their orange messiah or their own fuggery. We have to give a Dem president a House majority and at least 60 in the Senate.
Filibusters can be blocked with a simple majority. You know, the way the Republicans did in 2017 to confirm Trump's SCOTUS appointment. That's exactly the kind of thing Democrats won't do, instead writing strongly worded letters to the no one who cares.
The filibuster rule changes were narrow, they didn't apply to just any legislation someone wanted. Other than presidential nominees the 51 vote threshold is limited to items that can go into a reconciliation bill.
Biden only had 51 with Kamala Harris tie-breaking. Manchin & Sinema would have never voted with them on anything controversial to crack down on Republicans. The Democrats also would never have eliminated the filibuster entirely because they wouldn't have it when they inevitably lost power mid-terms.
If I'm understanding you correctly, we agree: the Democrats aren't going to do any of the things listed in the original post, because a Republican minority can and will block them with filibusters, unless some Democrats break ranks, removing the need for filibustering.
OR we could make as our goal sending at least 51 *solid* Dems to the Senate.
We could also put a solid supermajority in Congress by choosing good candidates, dispensing with the useless ancients, and getting the tens of millions of sleeping voters to vote. A supermajority defeats the president's veto, and a two-thirds majority in the Senate can remove him from office.
1st thing is convincing the wide Democratic tent there's no such thing as a unicorn candidate & 80% or more of what you want is better than 0. People identifying as Democrats just couldn't vote for "Genocide Joe" & now they get to watch the genocide blessed by a GOP president who says "get it done".
A two-thirds majority in the Senate also allows removing SCOTUS justices through impeachment.
That's 2/3 of 100, so 66/67. There are NO Republicans currently serving that would cross over and do that, so that's the number of seats we'd need to fill with *solid* Democrats to do that.
Biden had immunity for "official acts" prior to leaving office. Garland dragged his feet. It's my opinion they could have done more...
💯
I do! Obama & Biden were suckered into the false narrative that Republicans have been pandering for decades - that when we hold Republicans accountable for their corruption & law-breaking, that we’re “politically persecuting them”, but they attack & hound every Democrat over the weakest accusation.
No, we must have new leadership to do the heavy lifting required. And the American public does not like chaos for extended periods.
