If the case were this simple there wouldnt have been the other side of the ledger, the resources that went to Ukraine to end invaders' lives. These people aren't going away, and aren't getting smaller.

What’s given to 🇺🇦 now, in the 4th year of war, is peanuts compared to funds poured into 🇷🇺 during any single year prior to the full-scale invasion. Then there have also been infrastructure projects, machinery & technology sales, preferential treatment of russians everywhere despite all the murder.
I have no doubt that European voters will elect other russian agents one by one who will restore “productive relationship” with the russian terrorist state once there’s a ceasefire (with 20% of Ukraine staying under occupation).
Sanctions will be eased, frozen funds returned, trade restored. The majority of people will be acting as if nothing bad happened, admiring russians, their athlets, their culture, their Tolstoevsky, and saying that Ukrainians are just too sensitive and need to move on.
I guess we'll wait and see.
