The St. Vincent show at #Halifax Jazz Fest last night was amazing. Though, if I’m being honest, her Jazz Fest show in 2014 was much better, in my opinion. #HaliSky

I wonder where the 2014 show fell in the tour schedule. Perhaps where this one was the end of the tour they were a little tapped out? I didn't see the 2014 show. I did find the set rather short, but it may have also been because I was enjoying it and wanted it to keep going. 😂

When Annie said it was their last show of the tour I immediately thought it would be an extra special set, based on other bands’ tour ending shows I’ve seen. So I got really excited. I think the encore and sort of weird end to the show is affecting how I feel about the show as a whole.

OK, just looked at their previous setlists. They played six shows in 7 days, including in the Czech Republic. All those shows were similar in length and the encore was the same one song. So that makes me feel better.

It's good to know! I hadn't seen St.Vincent before so I have no reference. That being said, we caught a song or two from a distance at Governor's Ball a number of years ago (2016, I think?) and husband and I knew from that short amount that we had missed something special.

I thought it was pretty spectacular, but very different than 2014–heavier and looser. I thought that may have because it was the last night of the tour. But I came to this one with more expectations, where in 2014, I didn’t know what to expect. Still,
