Does anyone else just wear earplugs most of the day. 🫤
Does anyone else just wear earplugs most of the day. 🫤
No, but only because I start humming tunelessly and I don't know how loud I'm getting or who I'm annoying
When I worked in an open-plan office, noise cancelling headphones were the only way I could concentrate & avoid getting stressed.
Team NC headphones. As long as it's not too sweaty out, I find their consistent pressure comforting
i dont really wear earplugs..
do earbuds count
Do ANC earbuds count? If so, absolutely yes.
I recommend the earmuff style. They work better and they make ppl not want to talk to you.
neurodivergents rise up
Try turning those air filters off. 😏
Noise canceling headphones with no music count?
No but I keep that thang on me at all times.
depends on the day, but currently yes!
Yep, started 15 years ago, never stopped. Earplugs, mildly noise-cancelling (passive, not active), turn any noise into ambient noise level. They are basically a switch to get into "let's do some work now" mentally.
Do we count bad hearing as earplugs? 😅
Nature’s earplugs? ☺️
Basically lol
It is not uncommon for me to realize at the start of a Zoom meeting that the over-ear headphones I’ve been wearing for the last 2 hours aren’t even turned on.
Pardon?
No, but maybe I should???
anc ear buds w/white noise.
+1. I also like pink noise (less high end fuzz than white noise) and starship engine hum videos on YouTube.
Usually rain/thunder
No, plugging my ear canals gives me monster ear infections no matter what I do. I stick to over ear headphones and try to take frequent breaks from them. Sony Wh-1000xm4 are still the greatest mental health investment I ever made though.
My Sony NC headphones say I use them an average of 7 hours a day. So yeah.
We swap between those, and noise cancelling headphones a good bit. Hyperacusis blooows
I’ve done that quite a lot. It’s nice.
Headset but yeah, basically
I use noise cancelling headphones with no music.
Yes! It's really useful :3
