Oh it goes waaaay back to the Tumblr days. Before I was posting about Bee Gees on Twitter and knew anyone else. She randomly decided she hated me and just posted all kinds of weird, creepy, mean things to me out of the blue. No indication of why. I’m still mystified.

OMG !!! I hope you don’t think I was being nosy, it just struck me funny that you guys instantly knew who did it 😂 I totally enjoy your pictures and slides they are always gorgeous! Hope your trip was fabulous!

Not at all by me. I thought it was another petty disrespectful person messing with Shelley’s slides - and then I learn there’s more that one 😡🤬 Ugh.

no it stood out b/c that account is known for putting in no effort, slapping a "follow me/look at me" watermark on random internet photos. Shelley spends $$ at auction (not cheap) on slides we would never see otherwise, then meticulously restores for all to enjoy. Then EB removes SW's watermark?? 🙄

I truly have no clue who that person is 🤷‍♀️ and I’m not exactly tech savvy- But I most certainly appreciate Shelley’s amazing work Thank you @shelleyw.bsky.social ♥️

Actually the everything.bee.gees account is one of the worst if not the worst offenders for putting big watermarks on photos they did not buy or clean up or put any effort into at all. Also horrible colorizing. No wonder they don't like Shelley. Total opposite approaches.

I get really ticked off for those exact reasons. She is the absolute worst.

i am pretty suspect of any watermark that exists simply to direct me to someone's instagram account... like... "hey... sorry to disappoint you but your instagram is not a thing."

Look at MeMeMeMeMe social media bullshit.

To me it's worse because it's a grab for followers. Like who gives a shit if you have a lot of followers on instagram because you post Bee Gees photos. Makes me run in the opposite direction. I haven't seen that account in over a year for this reason.

That’s how it is on LinkedIn. I turn down ppl who want to “connect” w/ me, only to push their services. I’ve said there for a long time, don’t follow ME - follow the work. But all many want to do is monetize the latest trends & look for buyers. Then there’s all the “humble bragging.” It’s awful. 😞

yes i'm allergic to any follow me behavior... Actually, this inspired me to check out the official Bee Gees account on insta - something I haven't done in over six months. I don't love the ads, but I feel like something clicked. They kicked it up a notch. When we were on x it was kind of awful.

I just can’t w/ anything Zuck has done. I warn ppl on BS I block random followers (& of course creeps & bots) but that doesn’t stop them. Meanwhile BS is STILL trying to figure out why I can’t see all my followers. They know I want to prune it out. I can only see 5 followers. No Bee Gees friends 😒

Also, just another note, when I get back and rested up, I have a huge backlog of slides to digitize and edit. I’ll be sure to post them.
