As per the usual, Gen-X overshadowed by Boomers. I will say I have been a member of a Unitarian-Universalist church for almost 25 years full of boomers who have spent their lives fighting against the ills of society- Therapists, lawyers, artists, musicians, judges, community organizers. People try.

Not random. All Boomers I happen to know. All good people who spent their lives trying to do the right thing. There's just not enough of them to make up for the sheer mass of the Greatest Generation's ultimate failure, their own offspring.

Apparently way more evil and/or intellectually lazy boomers to boot. It's like a salmon swimming upstream through a herd of bears on the gravel bar. Thank science I was raised by a silent generation social worker mom and immigrant dad; Empathy and an outsider's view of America was my upbringing.
