Thank you for stating what a small percentage of their budgets comes from Fed funding. The ROI in the investment is tremendous for the local communities served.

The return on investment isn’t calculated by what the percentage of investment someone contributes. The ROI is measures the financial gain or loss that is generated from an investment relative to its initial cost. Both NPR and PBS are non profit organizations so there isn’t a calculated ROI.
