Yeah, it's paradoxical and nonsensical. They are trying to remove Obamacare even. Moreover, surely, there are just violent people who aren't mentally ill, too. Then "arming everyone, everywhere" is just not pragmatic. Private spaces can restrict guns. Government buildings can restrict them. Etc.

Voting is a right, too, but they have no problem regulating that. The true motives are apparent; just bs optic talk. Everyone walking around with guns and gun violence on their minds all day isn't going to create a less violent society. It's just weird to think that.
