My husband voted for Trump in 2016 - it shocked me when he admitted it. He sees Trump for what he is now and is adamantly opposed to him. I can give leeway when a person realizes early enough in the process. Conway spoke against Trump during the first administration, so I’m good with that.

I don’t disagree. But this poster was giving Conway shit for not being anti-Trump from the start. Conway made the switch like 7 years ago. Holding his former stance against him 7 years later accomplishes nothing. We need to keep the off-ramp open.
