Not being a farmer or even being educated enough on the myriad farming practices, the main take away I got from this movie was that Monsanto had a circular relationship to the whole process.

Subsidize the produce farmers like they do grain, corn, and soy. Cutting school food assistance also cut the farm to school program. Those programs created stable markets for produce farmers
