I'm off twitter but this sort of angsty reply to a stranger is sort of what I'm getting at. I wonder if there's an architecture to these platforms that encourages hostility

What encourages hostility (which is not innate for me) is the behaviour of people who are taking rights away out of ignorance or out of fear of things they just don’t care to understand. The platform itself has nothing to do with me being angry.
