He resigned after badly losing an election by being even less popular than Boris Johnson. Look up the leader polling from 2019, Boris was underwater but Corbyn even worse.

You say its a cult from a lack of understanding. For many Corbyn and his policies was our compromise. As things worsen the solutions from this point on will only be more radical. Corbyn Labour was the only time I ever felt positive about voting for Labour.
