The problem with trying to co-opt an anti-robot slur from fiction is that those stories always feature thinking beings that cruel humans treat as inferior, whereas here we’re talking about crappy magic 8-balls that incredibly dumb people think are omnipotent genies.

I am only wary of it because in the future, if there ever *are* actually sapient robots as opposed to an overhyped statistics algorithm that outputs the median text of the internet, I fully intend to be on their side when they rise up and unionize.
