Someone make this more complex for me and more accurate.I cannot interpret Trump's baby-legalese mix.He asserts that funds are going to lobbying and that those funds are from federal grants? Not a thing. Grants generally have explicit criteria for usage and receiving them. None of this is a thing.

The logic is crap, poorly applied, and it will NEVER be evenly applied, but I sort of agree with them. Universities that receive grants shouldn't be lobbying. But neither should universities who don't. No one should be lobbying because politicians shouldn't make decisions off of personal benefit.

Lobbying should clearly be illegal. If the head of a corporation wants to write his Congressperson, cool. If he wants to pay pros to sway the peoples' rep, fuck you. Term limits we have, and call them elections. That's why #TACO is taking no chances. He can't lose an election not held.

Those "term limits" aren't good enough. People often vote off "uh, I know.... That name." Keeping politicians from becoming entrenched is necessary to solve these problems. ALL federal elected offices should come with a 2-term limit.

Curtail the outrageous perks of office, publicly fund elections, and outlaw political contributions by anyone other than an individual (with monetary limits), and you'll get millionaires out of Congress. Eliminate the Senate while you're at it.
