The hypocrisy would be funny if it wasn’t so dangerous. Republicans freaked out about even the appearance of Democratic partisan influence over the Justice Department, then they appoint hyper-partisans who ignore the law to go after their political enemies.

It's also time to stop the dangerous habit Democrats have of appointing Republicans to law enforcement positions to appear bipartisan and nominating anyone who ever had anything to do with the Federalist Society to the bench.
