The case is made. The logic and evidence is overwhelming regardless of opinion. The Serpent in the mythical Garden clearly is a fictional character that was not originally intended to be associated with Satan.

I disagree that the logic and evidence is overwhelming. There's no getting around opinion and beliefs. Example, we used to logically think illness was caused by demons. Now we know logically that illness is caused by a toad or small dwarf living in the stomach. :-)
