I don’t know that you should have done anything in particular. Imagining myself in your position.. it’s dizzying to try and pick one or two things that offer the greatest good to humanity. You seem to want to do good though. No easy answers I suppose. It’ll occupy my thoughts for some time.
It’s easy to think fund NPR etc but that doesn’t help anyone other than the folks already in their own bubble (myself included). It’s easy to say “give more” but it always seems like money is both the problem and solution. We all need to care more about one another and I’m not sure how to buy that.
Ok I think I got something… set up an investment trust with the aim of buying medical and other debit for pennies on the dollar and wiping it out. That helps lots of folks randomly regardless of political ideology etc. I dunno.. it’s all I got.
