Americans are incapable to end this. They are scared, lazy and worst of it all, unwilling to sacrifice anything to attempt to end the fascist authoritarian regime destroying this country. So no, this will end as badly or worse than it appears.

One reason also may be that Americans don't have any experience with fascism in their own country? Maybe many don't realize how bad it already is, how far Trump and his cronies have already gotten with their fascist agenda?
