but it isn't just limited to lolicon adjacent issues (mostly is free speech related tho) i've also given up bc the current court is very confusing and has no real legal standard so a lot of the stuff that has been precedent for like a century could suddenly change 2mwr
but when i see someone say the "lolicon is illegal" it's like they have a child's understanding of our legal system. flag burning is also illegal**** (**** = illegal by statute, overturned by SCOTUS rulings)
the concept itself is meaningless because there is one and only one way any particular action can be said to be "legal" or not, a court ruling. Anything else is just "probably"
