You're absolutely right, but you'll never be able to prevent that. As far as I'm concerned, they can swim in their pride, but they should fulfill their duty of care for their employees and pay them properly! After all, the employees contribute to their millions through their work.
We shouldn't give up on preventing that. The US, for instance, used to have more reasonable upper marginal tax rates, which clawed back more of what the owners stole. Employees certainly need better pay and working conditions, but we can also limit how insanely rich the owners get.
