What other ways of reward for ambition can we have (do we need ambition? If so, can that ambition come in another form)? We have high taxes here, still could be a thousand times better solutions but we have free healthcare and school, even University
We do need ambition. It drives innovation. Sometimes ambition comes from personal desire to improve something, like a doctors research for a new medicine. Sometimes from a desire to increase one’s living standards or to afford luxuries.
The culture of the people in a given location has a lot to do with it. Many places holds money and what it can buy (power) in high esteem. Those places attract ambitious people. The USA is a good example.
I know you can be very ambitious without being greedy, but being very generous and empathic. I'ts a mistake to often give away power, to reward greed and only thinking what benefits yourself. Cause they hunt power. Give power to the kind and we will have a paradise for all. This is the challenge.
