California won’t. Dems talk but don’t follow through. We are far past the Cold War between the parties. One is launching missiles and the other is saying “we’ll launch missiles too but only after their missiles land and prove without a doubt that they are missiles.”

Betcha they will. Newsom is the first emerging face of the New Democrats, who will actually stand up to fascism. I didn't think they existed but apparently they do. The old guard just has to move aside.
