A whole bunch of people are telling you that they won't vote for him. I'd recommend strongly advocating for one of the different fighters so as to not alienate a non-trivial part of the voting block and actually have more support.

Unless of course you don't actually care about those people and deny the reality that Gavin has been super transphobic lately. Couple this with examples of ostensibly progressive groups like Labour in the UK throwing trans people to the wolves, you'd do well to understand their perspective.
