Coyotes rarely hurt humans, as you can see he just wanted to get past you. He was more of a looky loo. Now a cougar on the other hand is a different story!

I see coyotes two or three times a week. I’m not afraid of them. It’s just good common sense to keep some distance between yourself and wildlife.
